At Ottawa Hears Audiology, we believe everyone deserves the chance to hear life’s most precious moments — laughter, music, conversation, and connection. Yet for many people in our community, hearing care remains out of reach.

The Gift of Hearing Program was created to help individuals in our community access the hearing-related care and support they may not otherwise be able to afford — including hearing assessments, earwax removal when needed, hearing technology, fittings, follow-up care, and professional audiology support.

How You Can Get Involved

Your contribution can help someone reconnect with loved ones, participate in life again, and hear the moments that matter most:

  • Donate used hearing aids — give a second life to devices that could change someone’s world.

  • Volunteer with us — share your time, skills, and energy to support our mission.

  • You can also support the Gift of Hearing Program by contributing essential materials that help us deliver care to our community. We welcome donations of:

    • Audiology-related supplies

    • Hearing care supplies

    • Clinic supplies

    Every contribution helps us serve more individuals and expand access to hearing care.

  • Collaborate with us — partner through community connections, professional expertise, or shared resources.

  • Other ways to help — if you have an idea or resource that could benefit our program, we would love to hear from you.

Donating Used Hearing Aids

If you have used hearing aids to donate, please bring them to our office at:

Drop-off hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

If the office door is closed, you may leave the hearing aids at the door and please email us right away to let us know.
