In Ontario, audiologists may practice after completing the required master’s degree and meeting registration requirements. With over 14 years of experience, Genia Kanne-Shmigol, Doctor of Audiology, works closely with physicians, is trusted by referring healthcare providers, and cares for patients from Ottawa, surrounding cities and Ontario. She is also the developer of a tinnitus course, an educator, and the founder of the Gift of Hearing Program, reflecting her dedication to both exceptional care and giving back to the community.

Outside of work, Genia enjoys learning, creating, spending time in nature, being around animals, practicing yoga, hiking, cooking healthy meals, and enjoying quality time with her husband, two children, family, and friends.
